Banyan Tree Spa Treatment Room
The Golf Kitchen journey has brought me to beautiful Banyan Tree Lang Co Vietnam. With the caliber of the Banyan Tree brand, I expected nothing less than an exceptional spa experience and was certainly not disappointed.
With a warm friendly greeting from Helen at the spa reception and a cup of deliciously authentic ginger and lemongrass tea, I was off on my journey to relaxation.
Accompanied by my lovely therapist Suchada, we took a short stroll to my own private villa that was beautifully furnished and very quiet. I specifically chose to have the Balinese Massage tailored with Cajuput oil as I wanted something unique to this region.
Banyan Tree Lagoon Pool Villa
Cajuput essential oil is extracted from the twigs and leaves of the Cajuput tree. Grown and produced locally in the town of Lang Co, this essential oil is said to have many health benefits from aiding circulation and assisting pain relief to repairing skin with its antibacterial properties. This essential oil has commonly been given to women after childbirth to assist in skin recovery (and quite frankly I'm extremely happy to be lathered in this medicinal concoction after a long flight from Australia!)
Beginning with a relaxing foot bath, this peaceful serene environment instantly calms the senses. After laying down on the beautifully heated massage table, Suchada was extremely attentive and customized the massage to suit my needs, offering a choice of lavender, rose or peppermint aromatic scents to delicately inhale during the treatment. Suchada's massage skills were impeccable, finding every sore spot, relieving the stress, and then finishing off with a gentle face and scalp massage that left me feeling totally amazing. Suchada then kindly requested that I take my time and change at my leisure. Once dressed, she escorted me back to the spa reception pavilion to enjoy some more tea and a small selection of fruit and yogurt.
Thank you to the team at Banyan Tree Lang Co for a truly memorable and relaxing visit. Your attention to detail is much appreciated.
