About the Mixologist

René Lacoste was a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, a three-time singles French Open champion and a two-time Wimbledon and US Open winner. He was married to the French champion golfer Simone Thion de la Chaume.

While attending a golf tournament at Golf de Chantaco in 1967, Lacoste invented Le Chose (The Thing) Cocktail. This would quickly become a favorite among golfers worldwide.

Both frequented Morfontaine Golf Club in France often.
